I remember reading the book, very impressive gentleman.
Every year more and more historic wrecks are discovered; let's hope they are suitably respected.

Smile [:)]For those who have not read the book Stokers Submarine Comander Stoker, and the AE2 , was the first man to sucessfully navigate the Dardenelles submerged. He and his crew caused considerable damage to Turkish shipping in the Sea of Mamora and the southern Black Sea before being sunk,
The crew of the AE2 were captured and suffered severe privations in Turkish P.O.W. camps before being released at the end of WW1. The submarine was recently discovered by a team of marine archiologists.
An Australian company Fleetline Models has released a kit of both the AE1 (Lost with all hands off Raboul) and the AE2.
The AE class were Australian versions of the RNs E class boats.
I have ordered a kit but my wife has vetoed construction until I have finished on or two other projects but I will give my opion of the kit when I recieve it. It is a resin , whitemetal and brass model.
