Bill, try micromark.com They have prescribed sheets of basswood that should be good for what you want, either way your looking at alot of work !! Good luck !!Smile [:)] Silas

I haven't heard of any after market wooden deck for the Bismark. However, your best bet would be to explore the possibility of making one from small scale wooden strips; usually model train stores carry quite a variety of scale wood. I haven't covered a BB's decks with wood, but did up a WW II carrier diorama using real wood.

Does anyone know where I can purchase an aftermarket WOODEN deck for the Tamiya 350 Bismark battleship . I heard there is one to be had but I don't know where. The plastic Tamiya deck lines disappear with paint. I would like a wooden one to stain...Thanks for any help offered...Bill Barber (NJ)kist
