Yeah, it's kind of obvious isn't it? Besides the pictures being different, there's also different kit numbers. There confusion solved. Actually my take on this would be different releases of the same kit. They may all have the same parts (the prices are the same so no PE in one and not another). One may have been released a year or two earlier and one may have Japanese language instructions. Testors did the same thing with several of their airplane kits and released them as HSO with a higher price even though some of the kits were still in their catologue in regular release. The only difference was the box.
