Considering they want $28 for a 1978 Monogram 1/48 Me-262 (the box with an actual model photo versus the older boxtop art), I'd say they were a tad on the overpriced side. Of course, it is supposedly shrink-wrapped, but they use a generic statement for 'sealed' kits that could cover a shrink-wrapped box or a sealed plastic bag with no box.
I've never had any dealings with them - but I do like to go to their site every now and then to reminisce about the kits I used to get for a couple of dollars and are now 'worth' hundreds.
I don't doubt that they are very up-front with their transactions - but considering the price you'd probably pay, I would exhaust every other possibility before buying from them.
Oh, man - $55 for an old Lindbergh Winnie Mae - maybe I could actually get it to stay together this time ... but not for that price.
