new kit or rebox?
Posted by paulnchamp on Saturday, October 11, 2003 4:36 PM
Today in my local hobby shop I came across a 1/350 scale USS Wisconsin by a company I've never seen - Modelcraft.
The print on the box said "Made in China", and if the box art is any indication, it's pretty soft on details. Anybody know anything about this kit? They wanted $54 for it.
Thanks,
Paul

Paul, I don't know about the kit in question. But, I recently build a 1/350 Minicraft Titanic and quality was poor at best. Ejection pin marks EVERYWHERE, poor fit, wrong details, you name it. If this kit is any indication I'd say Stay Away. JMHO. The decision is yours afterall. Good Luck

Tim,
This was a MODELCRAFT, not Minicraft. (But who knows, they could be the same company)

Between you, me and a fence post. The only difference between all the chinese companys are in name only (In My Honest Opinion).
