PeterS,

Your best bet is probably going to be ebay or the 'classified' sections of various modeling forums, preferably ones familiar with Japaneses manufacturers ok kits not as well known in the west like 'Wave' products.

I'd recommend the one at Starship Modeler:

Hi guys,

Replies are great - but its not the disney nautilus that I am after. It is the Nautilus (Captain Nemo) from the movie "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen". You can see at :  http://www.hlj.com/product/WAVTL-02

Thanks for the replies - this is a GREAT website.

peter, i think you will have to scratch build that movie nautilus as the ones ed is talking about are the ones from 20,000 leagues beneath the sea movie & they are totally different.

In 1:700th scale -- I'm not sure that an example of Jules Verne's Nautilus exists.

Crown made a couple of versions of the Disney Nautilus, the smallest was around 1:350 or so.  These kits are OOP and expensive if you can find one.

Wilco Models makes a resin 1:192-ish Disney-type Nautilus (different enough to avoid the lawyers).  It is a dog of a kit with bubbles everywhere.  I wouldn't wish it on an enemy.

There are some other high-end Disney Nautilus kits, mostly resin & fiberglass.  Larger scale and larger bux.

Revell made a Nautilus as a tie-in for an animated movie about a dozen years ago.   It was a Snap-Tight and was really just a toy.

Welcome to the forum. I have never heard of this movie, but if anybody can help you find what you're looking for, they'll be here.

I'm from the government and I'm here to help.

Hi,

I am looking for the model of the 1/700 scale Nautilus that was featured in the 2003 movie  "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen".  If anyone has a model that they would like to sell or if you know of someone willing to sell their model could you let me know?

Please see the following web page for a picture:  http://www.hlj.com/product/WAVTL-02

Many thanks

Peter
