Destroyer Escort in 1:72
Posted by Hieronymus on Monday, November 12, 2007 1:42 PM

Hi there,

here are some brand new pictures of my ongoing project a DE in 1:72, USS Brister, Edsall Class. I have just added some new bits and pieces, among them those brandndew 3" Deck guns from White Ensign which are simply great! I had to add some more details to them cause they differ somewhat from the guns being used aboard the submarines. Hope you like those pictures and if you want to see more, feel free to take a look at my website: www.usns.biz

any comments are welcome

Very nice - the gun is outstanding!

I look forward to seeing more as you progress.

Yeesh, that is ... very nice work!

I only have one question. How many thousand square feet do you need in your dedicated warehouse to hold all of these massive efforts? (From a guy who lives in a really small apartment).

Hi there,

first of all, thanks a lot for the kind words.

My house is'nt actually that big. Just a few days ago my wife told me that after finishing my current project that I will have to stop with such major projects at least for a while. And to make sure, I'm totally happy with that, cause I got several hundred of aircraft kits waiting to be build and after finishing the Destroyer Escort I will restart doing some of them! But after maybe a year or so, I`m pretty sure that I will start the next major ship model, I have already several plans, only problem is which one should I choose?

So you see,  I'll keep on modeling too!
