Tamiya 1/350 USS Fletcher parts needed
Posted by Jerm757 on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 12:54 PM

hey guys!

ok so i have the Tamiya 1/350 scale USS Fletcher. Had a few parts that broke. i still don't know how? anyway i was wondering where i could get some replacement parts for it?

thanks for the help

oh yeah the parts that broke on my model would be the "J" thingy that holds the lifeboats up and two of the 20mm AA guns.

would like to get this fixed and find replacement parts instead of buying the "whole" model again.

The J-thingies are called davits.

I have some spare davits, if not from the Fletcher, than from the Trump Sullivans.  They have been replaced by the superior L'Arsenal parts.    I also have the Tam 20mm guns -- as these too have been replaced by the more accurate & true to scale offerings from L'Arsenal.   Contact me off list & I'll send them to you

don't want to seem like a pest but i forgot to put in my first post that i also have both the antennas (or whatever they're called, sorry for my lack of ship knowlege) that are at the bow and stern of the ship missing. you know the poles at the end that has the U.S flag on it.

Do you need the boat davits (parts D21 & D22) or the depth charge davits (D6)?  How many pair do you need?

Do you need the shields with the 20mms?  How many?

I am impressed on your quick pick-up on nautical terms. ( "J" thingy indeed!)

I'm from the government and I'm here to help.
