                        Iron Shipwright offers a set of 1:350 scale WWII era hull numbers.   No problem to slice together a 661.

                        There is no commercially available pirate for the funnel.   I've thought that that would be a good item to make

                        Where can I get a set of decals for the USS Kidd, DD-661.  I am going to build the Trumpeter USS The Sullivans kit in 1/350 scale with the L'Arsenal Upgrade set and leftovers from a GMM photoetch fret, and I would like to model it as the Kidd.  I live in Louisiana and have been to the Kidd many times and would like to model this ship.

                        I would need the hull numbers and the pirate for the funnel.

                        Also, if I can't find decals, how difficult is it to make my own?
