The water is a little shallow for a submarine, not too shallow, but just a bit. Other than dolphins, we'd get a fair amount of flying fish scattering at our approach when at at speed. Has anyone tried that before?

Kidding! I think you did the right thing with the prop wash, that display you have is VERY eye-catching as is. Ed's right, try some wake detailing. I use acrylic paints for that because they dry quicker, but maybe on the smooth plastic of your base oils would be better. Dunno.

My only thought is, is there going to be a top over this to keep the dust off this awesome creation?

Looks much better without the prop wash. Now to give the imprssion of speed through the water you need to add some bow wave, secondary waves, and stern wake. See the article by Don Simon at SteelNavy which includes some tips for modeling them

Okay if anyone has been following my Big E build you know that I'm just about finished with her,but before I close the casket on this one I need yall's help again ( I know your getting sick and tired of this). But can you see anything that needs to be addressed before I glue the lid down. By the way I do seriously thank all of you that talked me out of the propwash, I really wanted to get it done but as you all seen it wasn't happening, and thanks for being kind,generous,and most of all honest. Maybe sometime in the future we can fullfill that one, anywho please extend that above mentioned to this post as I really take all you have to say to heart. Not that I curl up in the corner and weep or anything like that but I do like to have the experts opinion. Thanks for all the help.
