Trade items, anyone interested?

You may want to check with the FSM staff for details, but I believe that buy/sell/trade is against the forum rules

Its modelling related, will help other modelers, is beneficial for both parties and your not selling anything.

I dont see the big deal.

But maybe the glue fumes have gotten to me.

This from the forum rules, though they are kinda vague. I think maybe they should have a separate forum especially for trading. I'm not sure if the rule above is towards commercial sellers only or what. Anyways, i was curious about trading rules too so I searched for this, I'm not trying to enforce anything. See what you can make of it. I'm afraid I personally don't have anything to trade, sorry. My kit stash is about one kit large right now, lol.

Is the planking book regarding wooden kit builds or for scratch builders?

I have the San Mataeo kit, it's a wooden ship with pages of instructions.

It will be my first wood kit build so any info would be handy 

It covers solid hull, plank of frame and scratch building.  That's why I purchased it the first and most likely why I purchased it a second time (without knowing I already had it) I find it very useful.
