1/700 scale Karishima

Looks gorgeous for sure! few questions? How/what did you use for the deck painting? Very nice construction, besides some flash and seam lines in some parts of the superstructure, very hard to file/sand at that scale! Very good job on the rigging, thanks for sharing!

Thanks Jmart,like i said fast built.In-fact that is my first 1/700 ship.Its fun anyway but not an easy stuff to handle with.

As for the deck i used Gunze 310 mix With Gunze sail color.Thats was a combinations airbrush and hand paint method.What I did was.... spray the wide base first just like camouflage style.And hand painted an area thats i could not reach by an air brush.I did applied a black wash and dry brush to hight light the planks.

I'm an aircraft most of the time.....just recently i built for one of my friend, and now fall in love with 1/700 ship.
