Good Morning friends..Just thought I would throw this out there and if it helps,then alls well.
I have read many comments about replicating the hammock netting on the continuing threads for those working there way through this kit.
Well,I am now on my 3rd and MOST definitely my last one and having tried rolled tissue with white glue,etc etc I came up with another solution.
While walking through a local market I happened to see a lonely old guy selling those ridiculously long laces for sports shoes/trainers.The weird modelling light bulb went on(You know the one) and I bought a pair of them in a creamy white shade.
Can you see where I am going with this...I gave them a wash of very thin black ink and tied thin thread at suitable intervals along the length.Cut to size and inserted down between the threaded rails they do give a reasonable impression to the unpractised eye of what the netting was supposed to do.
Try it,you may be disgusted or be impressed...
