Sure thing.  The kits were formerly made by Skywave and ae now licensed by Midship Models, of the USA.  In plastic, 1/700 scale.

They produce both USS Cleveland, with the rounded bridge style of the first half of the class, and USS Miami, with the squared bridge style of the later members of the class.

They were originally produced by the same company that made the original molds  for the CVL kits, so the two will look great together.  And they don't have the odd hull shape that the CVL has, so the waterline hull is in one nice simple piece.

Posted by jazzy_jeff on Saturday, February 2, 2008 3:31 PM

Does anyone know of a good Cleveland Class CL kit in 1/700 either resin or plastic.  I am building an Indepencence CVL and would like to display the two together in a dio.

 Thanks,

Jeff
