I remember how people howled about Lindberg's heavy-handed weathering on their Japanese subs from iHobby... anyone gonna complain about Italeri's job on the S-boot at Nuremberg?

I kinda figure that with them being tied in with Revell they ought to be doing it right (I hope anyway). I'm gonna build one right along with the PT boat. Dang a 30" Schnellboot!! Now we'll be able to see what we are doing for a change. I hope it's the one with the flak 38.

OK, I'll take the bait.

The demo model is bloody awful, just a scaled-up Revell kit.  Hopefully this model is a pre-production stand-in.

Well I kinda look at it this was; with the boat being in 1/35th scale it will be a bunch easier on this old man's eyeballs. The PE for the 1/72 is almost microscopic! Then if we could get Eduard to bring is a nice PE for one with the Flak 38.
