                        Russian Corvette in Fall River, Mass.?

                         Hi everybody, This is my first time posting in here because I'm mainly an Armor guy but I've actually been inspired to build a ship and I hope you guys could help!

                        Last summer I visited the Naval Museum in Fall river, Massachusetts and despite seeing the almighty U.S.S. Massachusetts I was more interested in the Soviet cold war era Corvette they had, but, me being an Armor guy I have totally forgotten the name of it and I am wondering if anybody knows it's name and if any main stream manufacturers make this (or something similar) in a kit? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

                        There are no dedicated detail sets for the Mirage 1:400 scale Hiddensee.  Mirage made some excellent detail stuff for their German subs.  I would have loved to see them do similar for their other kits, but they have declined.

                        You can replace the railings,  hatches,  ladders, etc. with  generic 1:400 scale details from Toms Modelworks or other 1:400 sources.   Alas there are no replacements for the lattice masts

                        I'm gonna check out Ebay to see if I can pick up the kit and then I'll try and get some of those AM sets, but first, how is the detail on the kit OOB?

                        In the spirit of full disclosure, Mr. Townsy is hosting a wildly popular Cold War GB in that forum. I suspect him of sleuthing outside the fold for a knockout subject, so make his task a difficult one, ship people!

                        Live in Rhode island few minutes away from battleship cove.  Worth the trip to visit all the great ships also belong to bay colony historical modelers
