I'd be happy to. I'll call Neil right away. I have not spent a night on her, but they do that as a fund raiser. I have gone there for breakfast in the Officers Mess (I guess?), and it was a nice experience.

I actually used Bondo for awhile and now use another automotive filler on my models and I really think its good stuff. I tend to get into radical surgery though...

I'm as good a woodworker as AC plywood, Bondo and lots of opaque paint ever saw... blecchhhh I'm just bad.

  I suppose if I had a buddy that was willing to throw a tape measure on some things and, those things belonged to a fleet submarine, that those things would be.......

  (a) The height & width dimensions of  an opened passage hatch.

  (b) The width of an opened circular hatch, I.E. conning tower, galley supply hatch.

  (c) The distance from center to center of interior pressure hull ribs.

  (d) some typical valve dimensions- high & low pressure manifold, isolation valves etc.

 I could go on and on but, theese few things would be of  tremendous value to future evil projects.

  Is your Nom de plum Bondoman because you do auto body work? Or is it because you use bondo as a modeling filler? I ask because I do (as a modeling filler) and, use it as a wood filler as I am a professional carpenter.

She is a museum in Cleveland and I'm about 20 mnts from her.

Being part of a reenacting unit, we have the capability of spending the night on the boat and its a great opportunity to take reference pics if anyone needs them.
