Liondberg Sports fisherman model.

I just bought a vintage(1960's) Lindberg Sportsfisherman powerboat model, with motor at a local toy show I payed a lot for it, and I wondered if anyone else has ever built this kit?.It appears all vacuformed but it does look mass produced ,the box and instructions are very old looking but still readable.I would sure like to see some other examples of this boat.I can provide pictures of my started project as I build and complete it if anyone is interested.Thank you.

i haven't built this one but it would be great to see a build thread.

Lindberg is supposed to be re-releasing this kit and the Chris Craft Constellation some time this year, they are listed on their web site, http://www.lindberg-models.com/ . As for built up pictures of this kit, they are hard to come by as it has been out of production for  awhile. There were some Scale Ship Modeler articles long ago.... I still have a sealed copy of the last release of this model. I do hope that Lindberg releases both of these kits!!

Looking forward to the pictures

I hope you didn't pay too much for that old kit. Unless there is a huge difference between that one and the new one. I think you may have paid a premium because it was out of production. The new one is now available and is only $75.00.

Built this kit about ten years ago for a friend who had a real boat almost exactly like it. I RC'd it for him. It was a fun build. He ran it for years and really enjoyed it. modelbob@hotmail.com
