Incorrect; the number 3 turret typically had a scout-plane catapult on it; the #4 turret received the color. Five and six turreted ships such as Texas or Arkansas.... I don't remember for sure.

When we refer to turrets being say Blue Blue Red for the West Virginia, I know that the Blue is on the forward turrets, but the Red, was that on the number 3 or 4 turret?  (4 being the aftermost turret)
