High three figures, plus shipping.

There has been some unanswered questions as to whether it is a kit or comes pre-assembled.  Roy Southerland (?) of 21st Century Toys (the guys who have brought large scale - prefinished models to the masses) saw one and said that it was quite rough, and would need to be disassembled and re-built in order to clean it up.

Here's a little more info:

The photos from the toy fair are of the prototype, the kit will be styrene plastic, 68.5" long, and in a limited quantity just like the Soar Art Dora railgun kit.  Pre-orders are 649 euros ($1011 USD as of today) and firm.  Available late 2008 but if it is like the Dora (which I got) it may be more like late 2009.  The upside of that was that the kit had more detail and some PE which was not originally part of the deal.  Can you say turned aluminum barrels, PE railings, and brass props?  I knew you could . . . .

Somebody was definitely smoking something when they came up with this kit !!! Even more so the guy who thought it was a great idea and approved the go ahead...

$1000.00 for the kit and $10.000 for the room extension.Plus unknown divorce costs when the postman rolls up with that under his arm :-)))) Yet it is something to lust over isn't it...

Almost as much as a 1/50th scale HMS VICTORY..!!!!
