decals for 1/350 Enterprise
Posted by jallred on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 4:15 PM
I am wraping up my 1/72 u-boat and have decided to tackle the big E after putting it off so several years. I am putting together a list of aftermarket accessories that I want, but can not find any decals for the flight deck. Is there anything out there, or am I going to have to paint everything? Thanks for the help.

It says on the website that this set is for the 60's era with the beehive. I don't guess that this would matter, or would it?

For most of the deck markings, no, it's not going to matter, although it does depend on what time period you're building your Big E to represent. For the best current info on deck markings and layout, updated armaments, etc., you need to go to the Navy News website, http://www.news.navy.mil/, and check out Enterprise photos. There are quite a few from her last two deployments.

The only things lacking from the Starfighter sheet for a current Enterprise are the bow flight deck numbers, they are now hollow white lines, and the ship's name for the forward and aft island locations.
