I built this over in Group Builds for the "In My Stash '08" GB, and I thought I would share it over here because...well... It Floats! Big Smile [:D]  The 80' Elco PT boat 1/35th scale.  I just love BIG stuff.

Thanks for looking and please share any feedback.

Fantastic build! Is that the new Italeri PT boat crew you used?

Cheers, Julian

Yes it is the Italeri Kit.  Nice kit.  A few fit problems here and there.  The bigest problem I had was getting the deck houses to seat down onto the deck.  I waited to attach the deck until I had every thing on it except the parts that cover the screws holes. I could have attached it earlier but the way I have the boat mounted on the 3 steal bars make it akward to work on and I needed inside access to mount it.  The base is just a touch bigger than my primary work area.

Absolutely fantastic - thanks for sharing!

Did you use any AM parts?
