Tracy,

It's a great kit, one of the best Revell has ever done. Add in the White Ensign PE set, and you've got a show winner in about 2 weeks.

It's one of those 'open the box, add glue, shake, and out comes a model' type of kits.

Regards,

Thanks guys, i'm moving through it slowly and have already decided to get another and really get down to the nitty gritty with it. BTW check out www.prinzeugen.com they have a nice e/s boot section too.

wespe,
I obtained the kit a few months ago and have been working to make it an Remote Control item. It has very good detail and the White Ensign aftermarket stuff adds a really nice detail to it. I found that the battle bridge does not fit really well to the deck, but a little model puddy and a tight file fixed that right up.
So far it floats really nice, but I will have to be making the propellars from scratch as they are too steeply pitched to be useable to drive the boat.
Becareful with the torpedo props, they break easily.
