Great catch Kapudan!  Not only do they intend to put out a few sailing ships (that '74' sounds tempting!), but they also apparently intend to produce some 1/350 Japanese submarines, and even better, 1/350 Imperial Russian cruisers, 'Askold,' 'Bogatyr,' and several destroyers and gunboats too!  Great additions to the 'Borodino' and 'Varyag' produced by Zvezda!  I will be watching them very closely for release dates.....

There's a favorable review of the Flagman Type VII U-boat on the Steel Navy website:  http://www.steelnavy.com/FlagmanTypeVIIC41.htm .

If this company operates like most of the others from the former Soviet bloc, its prices will be extremely attractive to American modelers.  And it certainly looks like the designers know waht they're doing.  (I do wonder, though, what, if any, connection there may be between that Captain-class frigate and the Trumpeter Buckley-class destroyer escort.)  I'll be most interested to hear about those three sailing ships, which, I gather, haven't yet been released.

Youth, talent, hard work, and enthusiasm are no match for old age and treachery.
