Miss Budweiser Hydroplane
Posted by xinther on Sunday, June 8, 2008 6:20 PM

Bought this one as a child. I am going to build it soon, but it occurred to me I have never seen any other model of these hydroplanes. I would love to have a model of the newer turbine-powered version with the canopy and wing.

Are there any companies that make model hydroplanes?

See Craftworks Models

http://www.craftworks.com/hydros/hydros.htm

They offer 1:48 scale resin kits of various classic hydroplanes from the fifties, sixties & seventies.

The included decal sheets are absolutely beautiful

Hi Ed,

I didn't think these would ever come in handy...

Ed,

Thanks for the reply.

It's a shame there aren't more manufacturers.
