1/72 scale German Submarines from Revell
Posted by spydur's web on Monday, June 9, 2008 2:21 AM

I own both of these kits... my question is: I have all of the CMK upgrades (interior) for the first release, but I would like to use them on the Atlantic version instead. Can some one please tell me if doing the cut-away for this kit will work?

Thanks in advance for any help in this matter....

Unless there's some bizarre secret thing I don't know about, you should have no problem transferring rhe CMK stuff to the VIIC/41. They are the same kit, except for a few differences (bow, deck, tower).

Getting some advice form CMK interior folks will help tho. There are some at:

and folks all ovre the usual forums (here, Modelshipwrights, etc).

keep us posted on your progress!

Thank you for your response... the kits are almost identicle with the exception of the items you mentioned. It will be my first attempt at a cutaway and I am hoping for the best.

Thanks again.
