Here a few pics of the Artitec Heemskerck & Statenjacht Utrecht resin 1:87 models that I built for myself 5 years ago, along with the description of some weathering techniqueshttp://modelshipworld.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5458
Papillon.
Once again beautiful work Papillon. Please satisfy my curiosity here: I visited the Bativia in Lelystad last year and in the entrance hall there were several models on display. The weathering used on them and the style of building (and I just rechecked the photos I took then) is very similar to the ships you link to here. I don't suppose you are the same builder?
Cheers, Julian

No Julian, I am not the builder but Artitec's boss is a friend of mine. He learned me the wearthering techniques and supports my Album de Colbert project. I will write a series of articles on this in the MSB Journal http://www.modelshipbuilder.com/index.html
Okay, my curiosity is satisfied
I will look forward to reading your articles.
