Newbie

I have been modeling cars and planes for several years now. I just started getting interested in ships, but i have a few questions.

1) Where can I find 1/700 figures? I saw a 1/700 LHD Essex with several figures all over. I have not been able to determine if they come with the model, or If I can buy them as an accessory(but i have not seen them for sale) Example : http://www.modelwarships.com/gallery/am/lhd-essex/700-pb/essex-index.html

2) How do I make Spinning helicopter blades?

Those are my main two questions, I have many more, but we'll keep it simple.
