A couple of weeks ago I went up to Wis. to visit family and one of the days my brother and I went to Manitowoc to check out the museum. Manitowoc Shipbuilding built 28 subs during WWII and the museum has a sub on display, we took the tour and here are some pics of the USS Cobia

There were 20 people in out tour group so only got one pic inside, the aft torpedo room

I just had a hard time imagining 80 crew on board, 20 of us overfed touristas and it was crowded.

Some of the ship models inside the museum, a couple of them were 8 feet long, just awesome.

My weekends have been "spoken for", but there will be one open sometime, and I intend going up to Manitowok. I've heard lots of good things about this museum. Thanks for the pics.
