I built this kit many years ago and recently managed to get my hands on the reboxed version. The contents still match up in quality to what i remember but the instructions are abysmal.Photocopied for pete's sake ?????

Totally impossible to work out the rigging diagrams without forking out for further research material so I wondered if anyone has built the original and held onto the booklet? A GOOD scan/photocopy would be so so so appreciated..

Thanks in advance for any suggestions..

I have the Heller 1/50 scale Chebeck. I could photograph the instructions and mail them to you if you consider that an option.

cheers,

Julian

Please forgive me for jumping into this thread, but I have the strong impression that the Imai and Heller kits are completely different.

Youth, talent, hard work, and enthusiasm are no match for old age and treachery.

Can't fool you can we John? Yes, absolutely right but the rigging of the ship should be the same in spite of the scale difference and the gentleman wanted rigging information, so.......

If you need them, I could see if I can send you a scan of my Heller Chebec Instructions.  Different manufacturer, but the rigging will be essentially the same.

Let me know...
