                        The forum's own Roadkill_275 has found himself with above kit without the instructions.  Since he is currently offline for the time being, I offered to post a request here for him after I found out his problem from a mutual friend he'd talked to on the phone.  The guy is stuck home without the 'net with this monster kit but no directions.  If anyone can help, thanks so much.

                        Cassibill,

                        Email me off forum with his info and I can snail mail him a copy of the instructions.  They're not from the Smithsonian edition, but they are Airfix.
