I retired a couple of kits at this show too.  The Albatros DV and the Moraine Saulnier are now retired.

My next build is the 1/32 CSM using RealSpace interior and SIM bay.  Austin's contest theme is the 40th anniversary of Apollo 11.  I don't think I'll have time to build any other real space between now and then since the CSM will be quite a bit of work to get it right.

I've still got a bunch of stuff in the case at the Hobbytown.  I've got to remember to drive over there and see if they are getting tired to them taking up space.

Actually, that is where I thought they should have gone.  One could even make the argument that the Nike-Hercules which was an anti-aircraft missile system (like the East German SA-6 I also entered) could have been placed in "Artillery" as well; but I wasn't going to fight.  The artillery category was a bit crowded.

Yes, they were at the HobbyTown in Arlington for their contest.  I was hoping to have the Academy Merkava III and the Revell-Germany Marder 1A3 at ScaleFest too; but they weren't ready.  I'm still working on them.

The Nike-Herc has been retired now.  It placed at ScaleFest, HobbyTown's contest & last year's SuperCon in Arlington.

You guys put on a great show!!  I'll definitely be a repeat offender! 

The Nike Hercules was a great build I enjoyed looking at it.

I'm sorry we had to move your two other entries to the artillery category.  I know those rocket launchers are always out of place in whichever category they are in.  We've always made the split based upon wether or not the rocket launcher is on a self-propelled vehicle or mounted on a towed launcher.  But the rocket in my mind has to reach "space" as nebulously as that is typically defined.  But they were good builds too.  Do I recall seeing them at Hobbytown in Arlington??
