A lot of us in the high-power rocket community were pretty excited over their models when they first came out. But there has been some negative feedback within the discussion boards lately, mainly due to long delivery times. Both accusations and defense have run the spectrum from "vigorous" to "slanderous".
Having said that, I've seen a completed 1/48th Saturn V and it looked fantastic. Model rocket tubing is typically glassine-coated, however I've been told these tubes are not. That's fine if you're building a high-power kit and want to fiberglass the tubes, but for a scale kit maybe not so much. Wrappng the body tubes between stringers with thin sheet styrene would probably work great and actually enhance the scale appearance (blend the body-to-stringer "bump").
It's not rocket science
