Happy launch day! 40 years ago today Apollo 11 was launched to the moon. Just heard a story on NPR that the original, high quality, video of the first steps on the moon had been erased and the tapes reused, however they found the best video copies available and have enhanced them to much better video quality. But watch the videos here at NASA's site, use the highest quality. It's so much better than what we saw on tv 40 years ago!
