Paint color question about the RoG 1/144 shuttle stack.

Hey Guys,

I'm placing an order for some paints and the RoG instructions are pretty poor as far as colors are concerned.

I'm looking for available equivalents to the following colors:

Wood brown (holzbraun)

grey blue (graublau) - there are like 5 different shades of grey blue (italian, french, navy, light, dark and RLM) - which shade is correct?

Panzergrau (tank grey)

And any idea what this "silky-matt" reference is supposed to be?  My guess would be satin, but most colors only come in gloss or flat.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Fred,

The Revell paints are numbered like Humbrol so finding an equivalent is pretty easy.   Here's a paint matching chart I got from someone else on the board.    http://www.paint4models.com/index.html   Hope this helps.  Silky matt is satin, but it's hard to pull off in scale.  I'd just go with flat, excepting the metallics of course but even they have a kind of dull sheen.  If you need any more help let me kn ow.
