Start here ... it's the NASA site and has thousands of photos of various shuttles and it's various components. As an example, the ET, External Tank, if you type it in the 'keywords' field, you'll get a few hundred photos of various views.

Plus heres my 1/144 Shuttle. I've only been back in this hobby for a couple years and this was one of my first models.

Hope this helps!

Look around on here.

I do remember someone postings pics of their super detailed shuttle. The bottom and leading edge tiles were even done in different shades of grey (gray). Mighty impressive.

By the way, I am not impressed by the kit so far.  There is a buttload (technical term) of flash and the pieces are not consistent.  The opening for the windshield is at least 1/32" bigger on one side.

Remember that this kit first saw the light of day in the late 70's. No doubt the state of the moulds reflects this. I am going to stick my neck out here and say it probably still comes with the ESA Spacelab which was rendered from design/concept drawings. The cargo bay doors don't even open correctly, though this would have been difficult to replicate reliably in scale.

I am building the Revell 1/144 Space Shuttle and tried to follow the painting guidelines that are in the instructions.  The colour for the SRB looks wrong (too brown).  Does anyone have a good list or chart of what the colours should be?

By the way, I am not impressed by the kit so far.  There is a buttload (technical term) of flash and the pieces are not consistent.  The opening for the windshield is at least 1/32" bigger on one side.
