Buck,

On my two 1/48th Lunar Modules, I used a couple of display cases originally intended to display basketballs.

I wanted to show the LMs in flight instead of on a moon surface, so I mounted them on a brass rod stuck through the engine bell.

I don't know the manufacturer, but they should fit within your dimensions.

Give it a google search, might fit what you're looking for.

Spacecraft model display cases

Has anyone built a display case for their spacecraft models that they are satisfied with?  The reason I specify spacecraft is that my models range in size from about a 12"x 16" foot print about a foot tall, to a 10x10 footprint a little over 4 feet tall.  I need a glass front to keep some of the dust out but also want to show the backs and be able to adjust shelves.  Let me know if anyone has found a good design for something like this.
