I checked in my stash and what you have is the Revell-Germany shuttle kit. They often have their paint colors be mixes of various Revell paints that are sold in Europe I think. The A color is for the big fuel tank. It looks like what they suggest is mixing the the wood-brown and white, painting the tank and then using matte clear coat to get a very flat finish. They don't say whether to do the clear coat after painting the other colors on the tank or just on the A portions. It shouldn't matter because all the other tank colors are matte. That's my interpretation of the RoG instructions.

Which kit are you talking about?  Is it the Revell kit?

What part of the kit are you trying to paint?

Since the other paint doesn't have a percentage, I would say you don't mix them, but I'm just guessing.

hello, i recently bought Space Shuttle Discovery & Booster Rockets and i have a problem understanding one of the paints. The A color has two steps. First paint 382 90% + paint 5 10%, and the second step is the paint number 2. so i didnt understand how i do it. i first do the first mix of paints 382+5 and after i mix what i got with the paint 2? or i mix 382+5, i apply it on the model and after i apply the 2 over it?
