I have seen various colors of metal foil at Hobby Lobby in the artsy craftsy dept, but it will cost you a few bucks.  I believe they have gold in addition to brass, chrome, etc.

Gimme a pigfoot, and a bottle of beer...

I've always thought Rolo foil was a great match for that foil. I've never tried it, so I don't know how well it handles.

If you need help eating the candies, let me know.Wink

Try Rollo candy.  Color is pretty close to what was used.

Doesn't bare metal foil offer a gold color?

Hello,

If I may goin this topic, I did use Rolo foil paper for my LM5. I also used 2 types of Caramilk bars for the other gold Mylar sheild like the little stripes on the legs for an exemple. I also use normal aluminium paper (go for the cheap one 'cause it's thinner) and painted it flat black (spay on the flat side) or grey-green  mix for the ascent stage. It's a big project if you want to be close to the real LM. But it's worth the time. Here's what mine looks like. Any pictures of your project?
