Ohhhh super cool! Fine tribute to the space program that never was.

Are those LEDs lighting the engine flames?

glad you like it, and yes those are LEDs  on the engines.

that was tough, I had to drill 2 parallel holes through eagh engine without breaking out or running into each other.  for all 5 engines!  Not for the faint of heart...

Sufferin' Succotash !

.

I do believe I saw that build at last weekend's NIMCON 4  !

Hey !

Mitsdude ! Where did you live when younger ? I remember those at 98 cents apiece when I was small .     T.B.

I was referring to the price of the originals off of places like ebay before the Glencoe repops came out

I do have several from different manufacturers over the years.  About 6 in total...

Nothing worse than making the flight all the way to Minmus, only to have the blasted lander fall over and strand your kerbalnauts!

Funny!

OctaneOrange

very nicely built, and might i add, that would probably be a hard ship to land, since it's tall and narrow, the slightest incline on the landing spot might make it topple over (a problem i have in KSP)

????

Man, I didn't design it, I just built it from the kit......

Nice!

I love this kit and the other 50's scifi re-pops Glencoe came out with years ago. Fit and seam work can be a challenge but they are a blast from the past. Before these came out the originals were crazy expensive.

It was like a gift for those of us that are builders as opposed to collectors.

glad to have re-pops too, but I have many originals too.  I love to build them too, just to spite the collectors.

Just a little something I built when I was down with pneumonia.

I added a base from the spares box and LED lighting.
