Decided to build the old MPC Eagle because I remember building it in the '70s.Did some seam work and laid down the white.I will give the parts another coat and get ready for assembly.

Thanks for all the replies...NOT! Anyway started painting the black.Masking is untenable so i will begin the process of touch up until I deem it acceptable.

Built this myself back in the day. Picked up the Round 2 reissue of this a couple of years ago and found it had the Alan Carter photo with the Nick Tate signature. It's sitting in my stash right now....

Just aout complete.Not a bad kit but it is inaccurate.I might get the newer 22inch version which looks to be a much better kit.

A friend of mine had this when we were growing up and I always wanted one.  I was more into Star Trek reruns and with my limited funds I stuck with starships instead of Eagles.  I was glad to see it at Hobby Lobby and picked up a pair of them. Really looking forward to starting them.

 

Recently watched the Space 1999 series on disc.  Better than I remembered.
