That's a great model, David. Nice job. It's great to see a scratchbuild/kitbash work so well.

Very Nice...would you like to see some images of Schirra's original Mercury suit? It resides about 25 feet from my office.

The CEV "Schirra"

Not to toot my own horn (but I will anyway....) but here are some photos of my latest, the Crew Exploration Vehicle "Schirra"

It is based on a Lockheed Martin conceptual design for a CEV. It is scratchbuilt from sheet styrene and is in 1/32nd scale (I suppose) and is 6.5 inches long. Even though the real thing hasn't been built yet, I'm sticking it in the "Space" category instead of "Sci-Fi."

Tips, pointers, questions welcome.
