Live From The Moon
Posted by GAF on Saturday, July 20, 2019 9:19 PM

In 1972, I attempted to take pictures of the last two moon landings, Apollo 16 and 17.  The picture quality had finally gotten to the point where the images were more than a blurry mess!  I only had a simple, single focus Kodak camera, but I did what I could with it.  Black and white film gave the best result.  I did try color, but the light level was just too low for good results.  Here's a sampling of those approximately 100 photos I took from that time.  Not bad from a CRT!  (Flat screen LED TV? Science fiction!).

Note for the younger members:  The dates on the edges of the photos are the date they were printed.

You're welcome!  A bit of nostalgia.
