Final Hubble Repair Mission , Atlantis (STS-125) Escale 1/179

Hello again

For the amount of project details I can name it as something ambitious project.

Luckily I have many reference photos and I share some of them.

It is necessary before beginning to have a clear idea of the objective.

(Of course, because of the relatively small scale, not all the details can be represented)

(and remember that it is very different what you want to do versus what you have obtained). OKAY.

Here an idea of what I want to represent in the nose and cockpit:

I want to make the representation of a part of the walls as shown in the drawing.

The Wings

The Camara

The ingene room

Of Course The Hubble Telescope, 

It is not mounted on the shuttle, it will be with the Canadian arm in space.

Hello

As a first step, cut the plastic in all the parts I need for the project.

Use the dremel to cut the plastic, because it is faster and more practical. Here the photos.

I'm not so sure about that dremel here - it's more like hacking than cutting... I hope you can work with the parts you got as a result... Good luck with your build and have a nice day

You are absolutely right in your comment. 

And I apologize because with the emotion of uploading it to the web I could not explain more.

Realyl, of all the pieces that I cut, only the floor of the fuselage and the top of the fuselage will serve me. I will discard everything else including the top of the wings, the motors ... etc

...everything else will be in scratch.

The floor that shows everything badly cut, I will scratch a new floor and cover the oldest one.

The middle deck of the cockpit  I am going to put a metal so that it is exact and the skin of the fuselage I am going to try to imitate with the anti thermal cover like a shuttle orbiter.

Any comments or suggestions welcome!!!

I am trying to put objects on the shutter orbiter  floor, just as evidence to see how it looks and go practicing to represent in the best way ( just prove) 

oxygen and hydrogen tanks, electronic components, sensors ... etc ...

    Yes, thank you ...From these moments I will reply more often. Because at the last minute I decided to start publishing and I hardly have much documentation.

I have to finished  this project by the end of this year and in  the middle of the time I will continue the U-boat.

Thank for ask about U-boat. I really want to continue and I already have a date to complete  to decembre 2020.

   I am back to watch this next stupendous project of yours.  Your work with metal at these tiny scales is marvelous and mind-boggling.  

I made a Shuttle with my Grandson. It's just a model.  Yours will be a true replica.  Thanks for including us in your "STS-125" .

   Yes!..the proyect need to be finished at the end of the year because in the second week of january i want to present my work to IPMS Guatemala.
