I have not worked on my shuttle complex for a couple of months......But check out my ModelCam. The shots kinda look like the real thing (when its dark)

I have to thank all you guys for your great comments. <br>Sometimes when working on a large project you hit the old brick wall and hearing stuff from you guys gets me back into the mood to finish the project. Guess i'm just dreading painting it :)

Great Job! What else can I say that was not said.

I came back after a "long assignment", signed on to check one of my favorite boards, and viola - something I have been searching for quite some time. This would complement my 1/72 Shuttle on Stack. Keep up the great work. Impressive is not enough of an adjective to describe it.
I'm just finishing up a 1/144 scale Shuttle with boosters/ET for a couple of United Space Alliance reps at my plant. Thanks for eternal inspiration!

i probably have at least $1,000 in styrene in this by now .

the RSS weights about 15 pounds and the FSS another 5 and the MLP about 15 (its wood inside).

then there comes the pad surface itself....which i started with two 4x8 sheets of plywood. im going to cut that down a bit just because its so large.

Okay, I'm impressed. I am new to doing dioramas (actually, I haven't got all the parts yet to even start Tongue [:P]

). I was excited with the idea of doing a small one. Yours takes the cake.

By the way, how much styrene and plastics have you used to date? I see alot of packages, scraps and pieces in your pics, and the thing looks heavy. I specially like the rounded ladder-wells on the last pic (01/04/05) "The Weather Protection System on the RSS."

well who knows whats next... at the rate i get things finished i'll be retiring before i get this one done.

id really love to do them all.....merc gem apollo.
i've also thought about doing another shuttle one....doing it 'right'.....i did miss a lot of things with this one. I guess i'm a perfectionist.
