Unicraft Models 1/72 SpaceShipOne

Haven't heard anything on this kit but know others who have built their kits and they say the quality is pretty good.

I built it last August and it was good, although Igor makes no bones about his models being for experienced builders.
I recommend pinning everything together, otherwise the wing joints will fail. I used one 1/8 dia. brass wire in each wing butt joint and its quite strong despite the ungainly appearance of WK.

I also rebuilt the landing gear using brass wire and aluminum tube. The resin is too brittle to trust not breaking.

Just thought I would share a pic I took last June during SpaceShipOne's maden space flight. It was rather neat to see a part of history take place!

They should! this is a very important aircraft. Revell did make the Breitling Balloon, so who knows...

Then again, how many "Spirit of St. Louis" kits are out there?
