Launch tower for Revel 1/96 scale Saturn V

Realspace models makes a 1:96 scale block2 command and servive module,it also contains a vac-formed boost protect cover.It's worth the 25.00$,but it does not include the escape tower,a buddy told me you could find a photo-etched tower but I can not confirm that.

launchcomplexmodels.com is working on some photoetched kits for the LUT. but as of today i understand only in 1:144. he says a 1:96 is in the works. i tried his web site this morning and it was down but keep trying it.

why dont you build one from scratch....it is a fun project. i am doing one for the shuttle. you can check it out at shuttlelaunchcomplex.com

I have not built this kit since I was a kid,I bought one and think I am going to do the tower rocket lattice with thin copper rod and solder.I can allways dremel off any imperfections,I finally get to try my cold solder tool on a real project.I'll use a block of balsa with finishing nails for a jig to construct the tower.

infimurf, your complex looks awsome. How do you paint a structure like that? Is it modular floor by floor?

well thanks for an airbrush. i think this should allow me to do a good job at painting....then again i might have to do some disassembly. oh well nothing else to do

There was no kit of a Launch Tower for the Revel 1/96 Saturn V kit ever. There were some modelers who scratch built one & that was about it. There is a guy who is going to be releasing one soon in 1/144 scale & later one in 1/96 scale in Photo Etch brass.
