                        Mylar(?) strips covering the apollo command module

                        Does anybody know the patterns of the strips of mylar or whatever they are that cover the command module? I have the 1/32 scale apollo that I'm wanting to re-do. It has the gold plating on it and that isn't right. There was an apollo model in a recent FSM that had these strips on it but the photo is only of one side.

                        I would suggest picking up a set of the Apollo CSM & LM plans by Dave Weeks. They have the pattern laid out via a skin map. You can get the plans through Real Space Models.
