Just in case anyone here isn't also on the Yahoo space-modelers list, Space Model Systems Inc. is offering a backup/replacement set of Mercury Capsule decals for the 1/12 Atomic City/MRC kit. SMS provided the original markings for the kit, and the new sheets, printed by Microscale, have a few extras, such as astronaut name strips and NASA patch for the vinyl figure, and an Alps-printed Liberty Bell 7 "crack."
In addition, a majority of the markings are also available in 1/48 for the old Revell Mercury spacecraft. Stop by the SMS website to see what's happening:
