HELP - Adding LEDs and other lighting.....

i'd certainly like to bump this - i'm really interested in learning a bit more about that sort of thing! i hope everything works out :)

oh yeah, this is my first post here, so, hi!

I can recall an article about 10 or so years ago on how to light a model of the Star Trek Enterprise. It used LED's as well as Florecent bulbs. I'll try to dig it up tonight if I can and scan some of it. Is that the kind of thing you want?

They used to have a fiber optic kit for the Enterprise class starships available from AMT, I think. Ran around $40, but it had everything you need to light the ship. If I remeber correctly, it came out to around 300 feet of optics. You may still be able to find the old kits on ebay, or it may still be in production.
